Ukraine has reportedly used British long-range missiles to destroy a command post housing North Korean generals, Ukrainian media reports.
This week, the UK authorized Ukraine to deploy Storm Shadow missiles against targets in Russia, but only within the Kursk region.
A video shared on the Ukrainian Defense Express website reveals that missiles were launched in the Maryine area, with 15 explosions audible in the footage.
“Given the proximity of the sanatorium, it is very likely that it was used by the command of a group of Russian troops in the Kursk region,” the media also reported.
The outlet also reported that North Korean troops were stationed at the targeted site.
According to a Russian war blogger, the attack allegedly killed 18 North Korean soldiers and injured 33 others.
Russia has recently claimed to have found debris from British missiles on its territory.
