Madrid are currently preparing for a Champions League tie with AC Milan and will be aiming to bounce back from a disappointing Clasico defeat to Barcelona last time out. THE BIGGER PICTURE
Mbappe may just feel he has a point to prove when he returns to action after coming in for criticism following a dismal performance in El Clasico. The result has left Barcelona six points clear of their bitter rivals in the league table, while Mbappe matching a 15-year-old record by being caught offside on eight occasions. Mbappe was expected to take La Liga by storm after arriving from Paris Saint-Germain but is yet to find his best form and appears instead to have upset the balance in Carlo Ancelotti’s team.

WHAT NEXT FOR MBAPPE
Madrid will need to improve at both ends of the pitch if they are to see off Milan on Tuesday. Ancelotti’s side should be well-rested for the game though, as Saturday’s La Liga fixture against Valencia has been postponed after the flash foods in the region.
