Mason Greenwood continues to impress at Marseille, with the ex-Manchester United forward shrugging off three team-mates before scoring training goal.

The 22-year-old bid farewell to Old Trafford when completing a £27 million ($35m) transfer to France. He made an immediate impact in pre-season, before opening the 2024-25 Ligue 1 campaign with a Man of the Match performance against Brest that saw him bag a brace.

Greenwood clearly has his eye in, with club colleagues being given the run around. The one-cap England international has wasted no time in finding form, with the expectation being that he will thrive in French football after impressing on loan at Getafe last season.

One of his latest strikes to find the back of the net saw him collect the ball during a training exercise and burst away from a group of three team-mates before drilling across the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner with his left foot.

WHAT NEXT?

Marseille will be back in action on Sunday when playing host to Reims. Said contest will see Greenwood step out at Stade Velodrome for the first time in a competitive fixture, with certain sections of his new club’s fan base having aired their opposition to a deal when transfer rumours first emerged.
