A Tesla Cybertruck stuck in Honduras? The truth behind the images that shocked everyone on social media.
Images were widely circulated on social media claiming to show a Tesla Cybertruck stuck in mud in rural Honduras , however this has since been debunked.
After a verification of the facts, it was confirmed that the incident actually occurred at Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad, Alabama , United States , and not in Honduran territory as initially reported.
The images show the luxury Tesla brand vehicle stuck in mud, which generated various reactions on social networks, as many assumed that the incident had occurred on a rural road in Honduras , fueling confusion and debate about the off-road capabilities of the electric vehicle.
However, the real story came to light when the original source of the photographs was traced.
The Southeast Toyota Land Cruiser Association (STLCA) posted the footage on Sept. 17, showing STLCA member Ryan Emerson using his Toyota FJ40 to rescue a Tesla Cybertruck stuck on its side.
The post was accompanied by the caption: “STLCA member Ryan Emerson in his trusty FJ40 recovering a Cybertruck . Share it far and wide!”
This was due to the impossibility of freeing the vehicle from the poor road, and the assistance of another car was requested and arrived to carry out the rescue.
