Wayne Rooney is a famous former footballer of Everton and Manchester United , He played in the striker position and since May 2024 he has been the manager of Plymouth Argyle of the EFL Championship.

He began his career at Everton, joining their youth ranks at the age of 10, making his professional debut in 2002 after being promoted to the first team.

However, many have known his physical appearance since his beginnings in football, but not everyone knows about Wayne Rooney’s before and after, much less have they paid attention to his hair changes.

Wayne Rooney’s decision to speak publicly about his hair loss problem led him to seek medical help and undergo a hair transplant.

Wayne Rooney’s hair transplant involved replenishing hair in areas where he has suffered from severe hair loss or alopecia. This process is done by meticulously placing the hair to recreate a natural-looking hairline and density.

Wayne Rooney is known to have had approximately 5,000 hairs grafted onto his head to create a natural, crowd-pleasing look. The change is very noticeable in the photos.

Everton FC

Wayne Rooney began playing football for Liverpool Schoolboys and The Dynamo Brownwings. By the age of nine, he had scored seventy-two goals for Liverpool’s underage team and ninety-nine goals in school tournaments.

An Everton scout saw his performance on the pitch and signed him for the club’s youth ranks, where he joined in 1996. On October 19, 2002, five days before his 17th birthday, he scored his first goal as a professional footballer.

This goal came in the match against Arsenal, the final score being 2-1 and his team won this match, ending a 30-match unbeaten run for the club.

As things progressed, Rooney claimed Everton’s inability to secure a place in European competition and requested a transfer to another club, which was denied by Everton.

Faced with this situation, in August 2004 Wayne Rooney rejected an offer made by his club to renew his contract for another 5 years, leaving open the possibility of signing for another team.

He was at this club from 2004 to 2007. In total he played 35 matches and scored 14 goals, helping his team to win the Premier League title after twenty-eight wins, five draws and five defeats, and to finish second in the FA Cup after being defeated 1-0 in the final by Chelsea.

He suffered a slight fracture in his left foot on 12 August 2007 and after being away from the field for 6 weeks, he made his return to the club on 2 October, scoring the winning goal against AS Roma in the first phase of the 2007–08 UEFA Champions League.

During this same season, Manchester revalidated their title obtained in the previous campaign in the Premier League with eighty-seven points, while in the Champions League they finished in first place in their group with sixteen points, advancing to the round of 16 where they beat Olympique Lyon of France by an aggregate score of 2-1.

Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo

Both of them, who were Manchester United players at the time, took the English team to the top, forming a lethal duo. Rooney had a remarkable career, unlike CR7 , who decided to leave a few years ago.

Today, at 38 years old, one year younger than Cristiano Ronaldo, Wayne Rooney finds himself without a club after managing Birmingham during the current season and in recent days, he has made headlines for a situation that has little to do with his job.

The former striker was present as a guest at Manchester United’s last FA Cup match. The team where he made history uploaded some photos of Wayne Rooney to social media, where they did not overlook his physical appearance.

Wayne Rooney currently has more than 16 million followers on the Instagram platform, where he can be seen with his new physical appearance, which is why he has gained more followers.
