Invited onto the set of LCI, the French news channel, Gallagher Fenwick, senior reporter and specialist in international issues, looked back on the period we will be going through until November 5.
For many political analysts, October could be an extremely dangerous month, given the approach of the American elections on November 5. For journalist Gallagher Fenwick:
“All the major players, whether state or non-state, know that there is more or less carte blanche. Because Joe Biden does not want American commitment before Americans go to vote, everyone will benefit from it. People will benefit from it. And so, indeed, Joe Biden will not make any controversial decisions.”
But Fenwick predicts the backlash of American President Joe Biden after November 5 and until January 20, the date of the entry of Kamala Harris or Donald Trump into the White House. And he specifies:
“On the other hand, we must warn all these actors, including Benjamin Netanyahu, including Vladimir Putin, including the Iranians, that once the fate of the election is sealed, he will probably decide to make them pay the price for what he had to endure before this election.”
