The name Omar Montes is very well known in Spain, as he has become one of the most famous reggaeton singers in that European country, having been dedicated to music since 2015.
Montes is originally from the Madrid neighborhood of Pan Bendito, however, his roots are Arab Gypsy and it is also known that when he was very young his parents divorced, so he grew up with his grandmother and mother.
The singer has had several facets, as he ventured into the world of boxing, was the winner of Superviviente in 2019 and participated in Gran Hermano VIP. In the latter, he confessed to having had a very complicated childhood due to the lack of money and the strong racial discrimination of the neighborhood children.
Although Omar Montes has always been elusive when it comes to family issues, in 2020 he visited the program ‘Volverte a ver’, where he revealed that his greatest pillars are his grandmother, mother and now his son.
Where are Omar Montes’ parents from?
According to his biography, his father is called Aukasha Ismael Ishak and is originally from Iraq, being one of those who brought the kebab to Spain. However, this was not present in the life of the reggaeton singer.
” I have had many emotional deficiencies, and that makes me be so devoted to my son ,” Montes confessed in that interview, implying that he is trying to be the father he never had.
In the artist’s docuseries called ‘The Little Prince is Omar Montes’, María de los Ángeles, whose roots are Spanish, was seen again recounting, through tears, the harassment her son was subjected to.
” There was no interest in killing a child. Bullying will always be like this and my son suffered it wherever he went and that is very hard ,” said the mother of the now artist.
