The 97th Academy Awards ceremony will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood in Los Angeles, California , hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien and featuring performances by Halle Barry, Penelope Cruz, Scarlet Johansson, Cillian Murphy, Emma Stone and Robert Downey Jr.
This year, leading the nominations is the Spanish-language musical Emilia Pérez with 13 nominations, setting a record for the most nominations for a non-English language film in Oscar history.
Close behind at 10 are The Brutalist, a drama about an architect pursuing his American dream after surviving the Holocaust, and Wicked, a film that tells the origin story of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Where to watch the 2025 Oscars?
In Honduras, they will be televised on Telecadena 7/4, a channel of the Televicentro Corporation . The prelude will begin at 5:00 p.m., while the ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m.
In the United States, the Oscars will be broadcast live on ABC, Hulu, Fubo TV and Disney Plus starting at 6:00 p.m. ET (3:00 p.m. PT) with the parade of stars on the Red Carpet. After that, the awards ceremony will begin at 7:00 p.m. ET (4:00 p.m. PT).
It is worth noting that some of the nominated films can be seen on different streaming platforms such as Netflix and MAX, although others are still in theaters.
