Recently, a video captured by security cameras has come to light, showing the final moments of Cuban reggaeton singer José Manuel Carbajal Zaldívar, better known as El Taiger . El Taiger, one of the most prominent exponents of the urban genre in Cuba, passed away on October 10, 2024, after having remained in critical condition for six days at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.

The audiovisual material, obtained and released by Telemundo 51, shows the shocking moments that occurred during the early hours of October 3.
According to the recording, the events took place between 4:26 and 5:00 in the morning, in front of the home of Damián Valdés Galloso , the main suspect, who faces charges of second-degree murder.
In the video, El Taiger is seen arriving at the entrance of the accused’s house. Unexpectedly, the reggaeton singer takes off his shoes and remains in front of the door for approximately five minutes, ringing what appears to be a doorbell.
At 4:31 a.m., someone opens the door, but leaves the gate closed. The camera only captures the singer interacting with a blurry figure behind the gate. Seconds later, a shot is heard, and the artist falls to the ground.
The following images show even more shocking moments. At 4:37 a.m., the suspect appears on camera, dressed in flip-flops, shorts and a T-shirt, and begins to drag El Taiger’s body by the ankles towards the garden.
During the process, he tries to cover the singer’s torso, which remains partially naked. Later, he places the body in the artist’s car and returns to the house accompanied by a woman.
The video also reveals how the suspect cleaned the crime scene for several minutes, removing traces of blood before leaving the house. Finally, a second woman arrives at the scene, adding more questions to the case.
A death that leaves more questions than answers
The murder of El Taiger has not only shocked the public, but has also generated an intense debate about the motives behind the crime. The dissemination of the video has been key to clarifying some details of the case, although many unknowns remain.
