Honduras remains under the influence of a high pressure wedge that is causing cool temperatures at dawn, as well as rain and showers in several regions of the country, reported this Monday Francisco Argeñal, director of the National Center for Atmospheric, Oceanographic and Seismic Studies ( Cenaos ).
According to Argeñal, cool conditions are recorded in the mornings due to the north and northwest winds.
This same wind will carry moisture from the Caribbean towards the mountains of the northern region, where moderate and intermittent rain and showers are expected. The maximum accumulated rainfall will reach 30 millimeters.
In the central and western regions, scattered showers are expected, Argeñal said. In the rest of the country, conditions will be relatively dry.

The Honduran expert said that rain is expected next November, although it will always be caused by the influence of high pressure wedges.
At the moment, no weather phenomenon is expected to cause heavy rain in the country.
