A video captured near the beach in Puerto Cortés at night quickly went viral on social media, showing a painful episode involving two women who, according to the images, confronted each other by hitting and pulling their hair, causing physical damage to each other.
In the recording, which has already accumulated thousands of views, witnesses can be heard encouraging the confrontation.
Among the shouts of those present, a male voice stands out: “That’s what they wanted!”, while another woman tries to mediate, warning: “She’s pregnant, you’re going to get into trouble!”
So far, it has not been clarified what caused the fight, but the images show how both women lose control while the crowd watches and records, without intervening to stop the confrontation.
This incident generated divided opinions on social media. While some condemned the lack of action by witnesses, others criticized the irresponsibility of those involved, especially when it was mentioned that one of them could be pregnant.
“So much nonsense, let’s women love each other”, “Thank goodness life on the beach is relaxed”, “There were no men who could separate her”, are some of the comments.
Local authorities have not issued any statements on the incident, and it is not known whether any of those involved filed a complaint.
