Would you dare? Extreme experience in Australia: swimming with crocodiles in the cage of death
Extreme experiences seem to be becoming more and more attractive, and this has been demonstrated by the ‘Cage of Death ‘ in Australia , a new attraction that is causing a stir on social media for offering its visitors the chance to dive close to huge and ferocious saltwater crocodiles.
A video shared by the @Crocosauruscove account on Instagram shows how it works, as visitors can be seen entering a transparent capsule that is slowly lowered into the crocodile-infested water.
Then, for about fifteen minutes, tourists get to observe these animals up close as park keepers feed them to attract them to the site, offering a seemingly safe but equally terrifying interaction.
Located in Darwin, Crocosaurus Cove is home to nearly 200 crocodiles , including some of the largest in the world, such as Wendell, who weighs 800 kilos.
In addition to the ‘cage of death’, the park offers other activities, such as holding baby crocodiles or feeding snakes, all designed to ensure an educational and controlled experience.
