According to Mexican media reports, the wrestler had been suffering from health problems for some time, which even led him to use a wheelchair; this in his last public appearance.
For its part, Triple A also confirmed the news and expressed its regret: ” We regret the sensitive death of Miguel Ángel López Días, known as Rey Mysterio Sr. We send our most sincere condolences to his loved ones and raise our prayers to heaven for his eternal rest .”
