5 Year Old Boy Hospitalized After Being Beaten By His Stepfather in Cofradía Cortés

A little boy of just 5 years old had to be treated in an emergency after being brutally beaten by his stepfather in Cofradía, Cortés, in northern Honduras.
According to the complaint that has been spread through social media, the child was taken to the Macro District with blows so severe that he was intubated.
However, due to the severity of his condition, which keeps him between life and death according to the details provided so far, he had to be transferred to the Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital in San Pedro Sula.
A video was shared on the web on Thursday of the moment in which the minor was taken out of the Macro District and put into an ambulance to be transported.
However, no details have been provided regarding his name, exact place of origin and who his mother is.
It is also unknown who the stepfather is who caused the serious damage, although a photograph of a young man has been circulated on social media, but this information is not confirmed.
Outrage over beating of Honduran minor

Honduran lawyer beats son
In January, the Police Investigation Department (DPI) arrested a lawyer accused of aggravated domestic abuse against his son , a minor under five years old.
The arrest was carried out in the Altos del Trapiche residential area , Central District, Francisco Morazán, thanks to the investigation and search carried out by the Special Crimes Department (DDE) of the DPI.
According to the DPI, on January 13 , it received a complaint alleging that the suspect had beaten his son .
According to the boy’s mother, the child, who had been sent to receive classes at his father’s house, had bruises on his buttocks and back when he was picked up.
