“Many of you have done Nigerians dirty” – Sowore blasts ADC members

Omoyele Sowore, the 2023 presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), has rejected the idea of working with politicians in the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition, accusing many of its members of lacking character and integrity.

Speaking on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Wednesday, Sowore said he finds it impossible to align with certain individuals in the coalition, citing their past actions and moral failures.

“There are just too many people in that coalition I can’t even sit across the table from,” Sowore stated. “I cannot ignore those things. I can’t ignore so many of the people in coalition who have done Nigerians dirty; who have done what is regarded as evil. People who we know have no conscience, no character, no pedigree.

He added that working with such individuals would go against his principles, claiming that some of the political figures involved have a long history of corruption, selfishness, and betrayal of public trust.

“There is no there’s no amount of conditions you can give them that will make them wash their ways, or change the way they have behaved in the past. These are typically people whose way of life is rooted in evil, corruption, selfishness, and shortchanging the public. There is no condition that can make them change their ways,” he said.

Sowore stressed that his only condition for political collaboration is a sincere commitment to rescuing Nigeria from the grip of failed politicians both those currently in power and those seeking a return through backdoor coalitions.
