In the history of Iwoland, never has there been a time when the name of our land echoed across Nigeria and beyond the way it does today. And let it be boldly written without fear or apology the name that turned our town into a globally recognized place is Oba Dr. AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi Telu 1, the Oluwo of Iwo.

Before his ascension, Iwoland was a city of immense history but dim recognition. Our potentials were hidden behind decades of political disappointments, underdevelopment, and internal divisions. We had politicians yes. We had leaders yes. But we lacked a *voice*, a *face*, and a fearless soul to put Iwo on the map of relevance and respect. That changed the day Kabiyesi Telu 1 ascended the throne.

He did not just sit on the throne as a traditional ruler — he became a *global ambassador of Iwoland*, a voice for the youth, a champion of modern royalty, and a king who made kingship attractive again. Through his boldness, cultural confidence, royal charisma, and relentless drive for progress, Oluwo lit the candle that shattered the darkness Iwoland had long been under.
Let us ask ourselves: if God did not give us Kabiyesi Oluwo of today, what would our politicians have said to we, the youths? What evidence of progress could they point to? While many of them only remember us during elections, Kabiyesi has made Iwo a name on international lips — through media, culture, royalty, education, and fearless advocacy.

Let it be clear we are not attacking politicians. We are simply saying the truth they refused to hear. We are tired of self-serving politics. We are tired of leaders who abandon their people for personal gain. We are not blind anymore. And this awakening came because Kabiyesi stood as a light in our generation.

This is a sincere call to all our political elders, stakeholders, and hopefuls come together now and build something meaningful for Iwoland. Stop the ego battles. Stop putting your pockets ahead of our progress. We the youths are watching. And if things continue like this, *don’t be surprised when stones replace handshakes.*

We now know better. We now have a standard. And that standard is Oluwo Telu 1 — a king who walks with courage, speaks with fire, and rules with vision.

*Iwo is no longer sleeping. The light is on.*

God bless Oluwo of Iwoland.
God bless the sons and daughters of Iwo.
God bless Nigeria.
