No fewer than 11 players have reported to camp as the Super Falcons of Nigeria begin preparations for a pre WAFCON 2026 double-tie friendly against Cameroon in Yaoundé.
The early arrivals are led by captain Rasheedat Ajibade. Also in camp are Christy Ucheibe, Gift Monday, Joy Omewa, Tosin Demehin, Glory Ogbonna, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, Esther Onyenezide, Fatima Oloko, Precious Christopher and Favour Nkwocha.
The team is scheduled to hold its first training session on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m., with additional players expected to join camp in the coming days.
Double-header in Yaoundé
Nigeria will face Cameroon in the first friendly on Saturday, February 28, before concluding the two-match series on Tuesday, March 3.
The fixtures form part of preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.
