Honduran died on his way to his polling station
On the afternoon of Sunday, March 9, an 83-year-old man, identified as Mr. Marcial, died while he was heading to his voting center at the República de Canadá school in the La Popular neighborhood of Comayagüela, south of the capital of Honduras.
According to his daughters’ report, the man lived in the 14 de Marzo neighborhood where he had gone to get his hair cut, which is why he did not leave in the car that picked them up to go vote.
When they arrived at the scene, they were informed that an elderly man had suffered a cardiac arrest in the street, confirming that it was their father.

The man was left lying on the sidewalk next to the school where he was going to vote.
