Reptiles in the streets of Honduras

This is not the first time that reptiles, such as crocodiles or alligators, have been spotted roaming the streets of various parts of Honduras.

At the end of January this year, the Honduran Fire Department was engaged in the search and subsequent transfer of a crocodile that was also sighted in Villanueva, Cortés.

At that time the animal was hiding in the La Mina ravine , from where it came out to eat domestic animals, according to the complaint at that time.

On February 18, a growing alligator was captured in the El Obelisco neighborhood, also in the municipality in the north of the country.

This animal was rescued by the Firefighters and handed over to the Forest Conservation Institute (ICF) which transferred it to a safe place.
